Josh Moody is a gifted musician, highly creative writer and rising filmmaker. His talent as a drummer and percussionist can be heard on numerous studio recordings, Dove Award winning tracks, and several motion picture soundtracks. He has a special gift for film editing, and has edited three feature length motion pictures, dozens of music videos and several live concert DVDs.
A History and Film Major at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Josh has written, shot and directed a number of film projects on campus. He has also written a number of movie scripts and screenplays, as well as a couple of television pilots. His stories and films have won several film festival awards, including the "Redemptive Storyteller Award," “Best Music Film,” "Best Feature Film" and “Best Premiere Production." In 2010, he edited the Best in Genre (Foreign Film) Veni Vidi Vici during the 2010 48-hour Film Festival in Nashville, directed by Emmy Award winning director Steve Feldman.
Josh’s original story and screenplay for No Limit Kids: Much Ado About Middle School was a major factor in attracting Hollywood veterans Bill Cobbs and Lee Meriwether to the project. And the film has won numerous film festival awards around the globe and was awarded the 5-star Family Approved Seal by the Dove Foundation.
